Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Clipbrd’s play designer, roster, schedule, and tournament tools at clipbrd.app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

The Service

Clipbrd lets coaches design and share basketball plays and playbooks, manage rosters and schedules, track stats, coordinate volunteers, and run tournaments. Features vary by subscription plan and may change over time.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You agree that the information you provide is accurate, and that you have the authority and any necessary consent to add information about other people — including players and their parents — to the Service.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

• Clipbrd offers free and paid plans (such as Pro and Premium). Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled.
• You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods or unused features.
• We may change plan pricing or features; we will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect you.

Your content

You retain ownership of the plays, rosters, schedules, and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service and to provide features you use (such as sharing a play with your team). You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights and consents needed to provide it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe others’ rights;
• Upload content that is harmful, harassing, or that you don’t have the right to share;
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you’re not authorized to use;
• Interfere with, disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Resend, PostHog, and Google. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. The Service may also link to third-party sites (e.g. Hudl, MaxPreps, YouTube) that we do not control.

Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by Clipbrd and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding without our prior written permission.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clipbrd and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Clipbrd’s operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
